Rush Limbaugh Hospitalized While Liberals Display Hateful Remarks

Conservative Talk Show Host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii yesterday, after complaining of chest pains.

Limbaugh's guest host Walter Williams told listeners that the talk radio king "continues to rest very comfortably" at a Honolulu hospital, where doctors planned a complete medical exam.
"While those pains can be an indicator of a cardiac event, the cause of his discomfort cannot be confirmed at this time," Williams said. "But he's going to take a lot of tests."

Williams said Limbaugh is in "good, stable condition" and he assured loyal listeners that "he's in very good hands."

"He's aware and thankful for all the prayers and concerns and best wishes that have poured in to him," Williams said. 1

Author's Note: Please pray for Rush Limbaugh's speedy recovery. Would any reasonable person, even if a liberal, want to be in a hospital on New Year's Eve? Liberal ugliness rears its head at wrong moments, and this is one of them.

No Tears For 2009, Thanks To Economic Woes, Health Care, Homeland Security, And A Politically Correct Liberal White House

Why are most Americans glad that 2009 is ending? Is it because of the severe economic crisis? Is the troubled economy the only reason? Is it the health care situation? Is it worries about Social Security and Medicare? How about the Ft. Hood Massacre?

Sarah Palin on Ft. Hood:

I think that there were massive warning flags that were missed all over the place," she said. "I think that it was quite unfortunate that, to me, it was a fear of being politically incorrect to not, I am going to use the word, profile this guy.

The following rather shocking conversation took place between a journalist at Der Spiegel (a German magazine) and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, (Napolitano was appointed by our very liberal President Barack Obama):

SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word "terrorism." Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?
NAPOLITANO: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.
There is no such word as "man-caused." I looked up the word at Dictionary.com, and this questions was posed: "Did you mean uncaused?" It is scary that Janet Napolitano, the person Americans are supposed to trust regarding their security from terrorists, particularly Islamic Jihadist terrorists, finds the word "terrorism" to be politically incorrect.

Just for fun, here is the definition of the word "terrorism," a real word Dictionary.com had no trouble in defining (in fact, there are three definitions of the word "terrorism" on Dictionary.com):

ter⋅ror⋅ism

–noun
1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.

2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.

3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

Origin:
1785–95; terror + -ism

Republicans Mitt Romney Or Sarah Palin: Will Either One Run Against President Obama In 2012?

According to a new poll by Utah TV station Fox 13 and Utahpolicy.com, 53% of the Republicans  participating in this poll believe that Mitt Romney will be the top GOP presidential candidate in 2012, while 4% are rooting for Sarah Palin. Mitt Romney, a top contender in the 2008 presidential election, has also written a book, published by St. Martin's Press, and scheduled for publication on March 3 of 2010. 1

A national tour is also on Mitt's 2010 schedule. Tickets are now on sale for Mitt Romney's March 13, 2010 signing event at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you are interesting in joining the 10,000 or Romneyites expected to attend this event, click http://www.mittromneyutah.com.%201/1

1 Taking page from Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney readies book blitz, written by Dave Wedge. The above information is a CONSERVATIVE WORDSMITH.COM summary.

Author's Note: Utah is predominantly inhabited by Latter-Day Saints (commonly known as Mormons). Since Mitt Romney is also a Latter-Day Saint, this Utah-based poll should be taken with a rather heavy grain of salt.

I was an outspoken supporter of Mitt Romney in the 2008 presidential election (see my original Townhall.com Conservative Wordsmith blog to read my many popular published Mitt Romney posts).

Even so, I like Sarah Palin, and I believe that she has a good fighting chance to be the 2012 Republican presidential nominee. Sarah Palin could be the first woman in history to become U.S. President, and that would also mean the first Republican woman.
